Singer/songwriter Gordon Haskell – writer of 400,000-selling Radio 2 favourite ‘How Wonderful You Are’ – is back! In this, his 70th year, he brings his jazz/blues-influenced songbook & golden voice back to theatre audiences countrywide. Gordon will be joined by BBC Introducing-supported & Radio 2-played musical collective Hannah’s Yard. Think ‘Norah Jones meets Fairground Attraction’ performed by some of the UK’s finest musicians & featuring the beautifully understated voice of acclaimed 20 year old singer Hannah Layton Turner. Alongside original songs from both artists, expect to hear an eclectic selection of covers – from Randy Newman to James Taylor, Sam Smith to Carole King. Musicians from Hannah’s Yard will accompany Gordon for his headline-set completing a warm & intimate evening of timeless music from artists with some 50 years between them.
